HF High Voltage, by Gunner and out of Electrinicki, has been in training at Pond Hill Performance Horses for a little over a year. When paired with Nimi, it was apparent that the pair could be very successful in the show pen.

"He was a lot of fun to show. He is a talented horse with big maneuvers, and he showed really well for me. I was very excited when Kaci and Jack gave me the opportunity to show a horse as talented as him," Nimi said.

This is the first run together for this team and it proved to be well worth the effort. Their score of 221.5 earned them $5,904.67.

Gunna Make My mark Delivers Again

Gunna Make My Mark has proven herself to be a consistent, high level show horse. By Lil Joe Cash and out of the great mare, ARC Gunnamarkya, "Tansy" has amassed serveral Championships and Reserve Championships thus far. Co-owned by Pond Hill Performance Horses and Montgomery Reining Horses, the 7 year old mare has been in training at PHPH since the end of her 4 year old year.

"We've always believed in this mare's ability. She has just gotten better and better with age," Kaci O'Rourke said. "Jack and I thought Nimi would be a great fit for her. He made the Open Finals at the Derby and did really well with her there. This is his second show with her and it was even better. I think the more they get to know each other the more success they will continue to have."

Nimi and "Tansy" were the very last draw in the Open Derby. Their 220.5 score earned $4,266.55, bringing Gunna Make My Mark's lifetime earnings to $57,845.97.

"She's a great mare. This is the second show I've had with her and she has shown up in a big way for me every time. She's one you can count on to be there for you and gives you 100% every time you walk in the pen," Nimi said.

Next stop for this team is the 100X Open Derby in Tulsa, Oklahoma and then the All American Quarter Horse Congress.
