Two year old program
Our two year old program is centered around bringing out the best in each horse. We take an individualized approach, knowing that each horse learns differently and at their own pace. We constantly evaluate our two year olds and work with our owners to determine the best approach to getting that horse to the show pen and to a successful career.
The main goals of the two year old year, for us, are that the horse learns how to take direction, develops a work ethic, wants to do their job, and has a strong foundation that we can build on.

Colts started between October of yearling year - January of two year old year

Detailed ground work process

Started in hackamore, moving to snaffle after 60-120 days, and remaining in snaffle for two year old year

Progress depends entirely on individual horse

Only introducing maneuvers or stepping up maneuvers when horse is mentally ready
