Open Derby Results
PHPH's two derby entries in the All Star Reining Stakes QH Congress Derby both showed exceptionally well. Gottabeattheboys came through again clinching the Reserve Championship in the Level 3 Open Derby with her score of 219.5. "Amelia" has shown honesty and dependability throughout her entire 4 yr old season. She will have some time off before preparing for her Derby Season next spring.
Gunna Make My Mark has continued to show improvement every time she has come into the arena. She marked a strong 218, with a few penalties to keep her from being in the top.
Open Futurity Results
Team PHPH had a great First Go-Round of the QH Congress and All Star Open Futurity. Kaci and Lil Showstopper led the group with a 219.5, followed closely by The Fireman marking a 219. Secondhand Smmoke and This Chic Crushed It both had turn penalties that kept them from scoring their best, despite which, they still marked a 217 and a 215.5 respecitvely. All four of the PHPH Open Futurity Entries made the Finals.
All 4 horses showed great in the Open Finals, simply encountering some tough luck. The Fireman had a big run going, when he slipped in the slow down and drew a break of gait penalty and a discounted maneuver score. Each of the other 3 horses also encountered big penalties. Despite the tough night, each of the 4 horses showed exceptionally well and the PHPH team is incredibly happy with their progress.
Non Pro Results
Tamara Wagman and her homebred mare Gunna Be My Dream had a nice run in the Non Pro Futurity. Tamara has worked very hard and it is a great achievement to show a horse that you bred and raised.
