Kaci O'Rourke and The Firemen made history on Saturday December 7, 2024 when their 229 score rang throughout the Jim Norrick Coliseum. Not only was the run historic in that they would be the last ever champions crowned in the Norrick, but most noteably Kaci became the first-ever woman to win the NRHA L4 Open Futurity.
The significance of this win can not be over stated. This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience being both the First and the Last and achieving what some didn't know was even possible. The entire PHPH Team will be reliving this moment for quite some time. Kaci & The Firemen take home $421,500 for Peter & Courtney Morgan.
Secondhand Smmoke & Jack Daniels also had a fantastic run in the Level 3 Open Futurity Finals marking a 220 and finishing 6th in the L3 Open Futurity. They bring home $15,170.10 for Trey & Amy Quinn.
